27th April, 2007 [0545] - The sky was dark & the air was 'chilleeeee'. We were told to gathered in church at 545am & depart with 2 vans and 1 Estima. Many came packed with bags that are huge as a television, some came in with tiny little backpacks...after all its only a 2 days 1 night stay. Excitement, joy & laughter fills the 'chilleeeee' atmosphere as we all waited to depart to a unexplored territory (for some la..).
27th April, 2007 [0630] - We were all still waiting to depart but due to 'over-slept-ers' & 'late-comers', we were delayed. Pastor Mike took this opportunity to do a little 'Ah Long' business (collect money). He was so fierce & demanding, some had to quickly run to the nearest ATM to withdraw money to pay him. The ones that had already 'settled their debts' chose to hang around chit-chatting while some chose to grab an early morning dose of caffeine at the nearby kopitiam.
27th April, 2007 [0645] - We were all still waiting! A phone call came in, "Hello Sir, Nat here...I'm on the way already. You can everybody ready & into the van. When i reach i'll just jump in & off we go." Woohoo! We were all glad. Finally, we will embark on this long journey to the land of Penang. Guided by our trusty & capable chairman, Herbert Ong...we know we will be safe & won't get lost.
27th April, 2007 [0730] - Breakfast time! We stopped at Rawang to fill up our stomachs for this long journey. We all had delicious, oily malay food. Some had to 'make cake' after eating all those delicious, tasty food. Commander Hon Chong said, "Let's go!". Alas! Our real journey now begins!
27th April, 2007 [0750] - The vans were spacious & quite comfy, everyone got used to it nicely. We arrived at our first toll, after this toll we are officially out of Klang Valley. Discussions were made in the van about what we're gonna do there, buy there, eat there. Jokes & sarcastic criticsm were thrown at each other...as always, Man United-Chelsea-Liverpool. Well, for me, i chose to Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..............................
